The project proposes to demolish several existing commercial and residential structures on a 7.14-acre property located on two city blocks and construct a new mixed-use project within the City of Santa Clara. The proposed project includes demolition of approximately 102,348 square feet of existing commercial and residential buildings and construction of up to 392 multi-family and senior residential units and approximately 221,417 square feet of commercial space. The commercial space would include an approximately 311-room hotel, as well as an approximately 8,000-square-foot restaurant and up to 22,000 square feet of ancillary uses (i.e., spa, fitness center, and meeting rooms). The project will be phased as part of a Development Agreement with Phase I anticipated to occur upon project approval and Phase II anticipated to be implemented approximately five years later.
