Simple Steps for Starting Your Business is a five-part series of pre-business workshops to help reach a "go or no-go" decision for a start up. The content presented is designed to work in conjunction with mentoring and includes homework to be completed between each workshop. The program is not designed to provide all the information needed to start a business, but rather to help you decide whether you are ready to take the next steps towards becoming an entrepreneur.
Part V: Funding
The final workshop offers information on how to finance your small business. In this session, discussions include sources of funds, accounting, the six C's of credit, banking relations, ratio analysis, and monthly preparation and review of financial statements. At the end of the series, you have all of the tools necessary to decide whether or not to launch your small business. This workshop will be taught by Richard Koeltl.
