Read a fun book and discuss it at the library! Join our 5th and 6th grade book discussion for our April book: The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart.
"Are you a gifted child looking for special opportunities?"
When this peculiar ad appears in the newspaper, dozens of children enroll to take a series of mysterious, mind-bending tests. (And you, dear reader, can test your wits right alongside them.) But in the end just four very special children will succeed. Their challenge: to go on a secret mission that only the most intelligent and resourceful children could complete. To accomplish it they will have to go undercover at the Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened, where the only rule is that there are no rules.

Attendees should finish reading the book by April 6th in order to participate in discussion.
Note: If you change your mind or discover a scheduling conflict after registering, please cancel your reservation so someone else has a chance to participate!
Attention Parents: Your child's attendance at any Santa Clara City Library sponsored event constitutes your permission for their photograph to be used for promotional purposes.
