Sustainability Speaker Series: Reducing your Foodprint

One of the most powerful effects you can have on the environment begins on your dinner plate. Join chef Laura Stec - author of Cool Cuisine: Taking the Bite Out of Global Warming, to learn how to lighten your load while electrifying your eats. Changing your diet is not about what you shouldn’t eat, it’s learning all the options and variations available to you. A small cooking will take place after the presentation. Please register to reserve your seat.  

About the speaker:

Laura Stec is a chef, educator and author, specializing in events and products for healthy people and the planet. Her work has been featured at NPR, Martha Stewart, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, and numerous local and national media sites. She is a private and corporate chef with Laura Stec – Innovative Cuisine and Culinary Health Educator for Kaiser Permanente and Bay-Area corporate wellness programs.
