The Senior Advisory Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in matters affecting people age 50 and older in the City, including health, education, employment, housing, transportation and recreation. The Commission consists of seven Commissioners that are volunteers and are appointed by the City Council. To be eligible, you must be a registered voter and resident of Santa Clara, and may not hold any paid office in, or be employed by, the City of Santa Clara. Topics to include: Personal safety / holiday shopping (online and in person), package deliveries, protection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and on-line scams.

This free presentation is will located in Room 222 at the Santa Clara Senior Center, 1303 Fremont Street, Santa Clara, CA 95050. There will be a time for questions at the end of the presentation. This presentation is provided by the City of Santa Clara Police Department in collaboration with the City of Santa Clara Senior Advisory Commission.
