Public Safety Dispatcher of the Quarter - Isabel Ehrlich
Isabel Ehrlich is the recipient of the city’s Public Safety Dispatcher of the Quarter.
As a Public Safety Dispatcher for 11 years, Isabel has provided police, fire and medical services to the public by answering emergency and non-emergency calls, and dispatching the appropriate personnel and equipment. She also provides critical life support care to callers while they await the arrival of emergency personnel.
Over the past year, Isabel has served on the Computer Aided Dispatcher (CAD) system transition team. Members of the team have participated in extensive training on the new system, dedicated a significant amount of time to ensure the data entered into the new system is accurate and adjusted current work practices to take advantage of the new software features and capabilities.
The new CAD system will go live in November, 2018. Isabel’s willingness to lend her Public Safety Dispatcher expertise and learn how to navigate a project with this scope has been impressive.
Thank you Isabel, and congratulations!
