Apply Now! Santa Clara Seeking Residents to Serve on City Commissions

Hello Santa Clara! Are you looking for a way to serve your community? Apply to a Commission and working to advise Council in ways that advance the goals of the City through thoughtful group work and recommendations.

 

There are currently seven (7) vacancies to serve on a Commission for the CityApplications due to the City Clerk's Office by 5:00 PM, May 31, 2019.  

·         Cultural Commission: One (1) Full Term ending June 30, 2023. 

·         Housing Rehabilitation Loan Committee: One (1) Full Term ending June 30, 2023 and one (1) Partial Term ending June 30, 2020.

·         Historical and Landmarks Commission: One (1) Partial Term ending June 30, 2021.

·         Historical and Landmarks Commission: One (1) Full Term ending June 30, 2023.

·         Parks and Recreation Commission: One (1) Full Term ending June 30, 2023.

·         Senior Advisory Commission: One (1) Full Term ending June 30, 2023.

 

Applications may be submitted online by visiting www.SantaClaraCA.gov/commissions or you may request an application at the City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.   

 

·         Once an interview date is set, applicants will receive an email notification.    

·         To be eligible, you must be a registered voter and resident of Santa Clara, and may not hold any paid office in, or be employed by, the City of Santa Clara.
