To Reserve a Study Room (1 to 4 people)

Our Libraries have several study rooms for you to use. Each room is equipped with a monitor and a fast wifi connection. You can reserve our study rooms up to one week in advance using LiquidSpace. 

Study Room Guidelines: 

Please check-in at the Reference Desk upon arrival so that Library staff can assist you with your booking. 


•Rooms can be booked for a maximum of two hours for groups of 2-4.

•Bookings with a single attendee can be booked for a maximum of one hour.

•Bookings may be scheduled up to one week in advance.

•One booking per day, per group.

•One user must have a library card in good standing.

•One user Library Card will be held for check-in and returned at check-out.

•Study Rooms will be held for 15 minutes past the beginning of the reserved time. After that time the reservation will be cancelled.

•No food. Only covered drinks are allowed.

•Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

•No in-and-out privileges. (i.e. leaving in the middle of your booking to have lunch). Due to high demand, your room will be given to other users if the room is vacated.

 

OUR GROUP STUDY ROOMS ARE STRICTLY FOR MEETINGS OR STUDY SESSIONS. NO SELLING OR PAID CLASSES.


Commercial advertising, vending, selling or soliciting of any type, as well as any other commercial or for-profit activities, are strictly prohibited on Library grounds.

The Central Park Library staff reserves the right to cancel or remove groups who violate our policies without prior notice.

 

To Reserve a Community Room 

Our Libraries have several community rooms for you to use. Visit our Policy for Use of Library Community Rooms to see if your organization or event is eligible for reservation. 

Central Park Library 

If you would like to reserve a community room, please call the Library first to check on availability at 408-615-2900. Then fill out the appropriate form and send the form to librarians@santaclaraca.gov

Sycamore Community Room
(5 - 12 people)
May be booked a maximum of twice per month.

Margie Edinger Community Room
(100 chairs, or 16 tables and chairs with 32 people seated)

Redwood Community Room
(125 chairs, or 24 tables and chairs with 48 people seated)

Northside Branch Library

If you would like to reserve a community room, please call the Library first to check on availability at 408-615-5500. Then fill out the appropriate form and send the completed form to northsidelibrary@santaclaraca.gov.
