Find Your PIN
The Santa Clara City Library has implemented Personal Identification Numbers (PINs). Your PIN is a 4-digit number used in addition to your library card barcode to log into your online accounts and to use the library’s self-checkout machines. The use of PINs will add an extra layer of security to your library account.
The default setting for your new 4-digit user PIN will be your year of birth. For example, if you were born in 1975, your PIN number is “1975.”
If there is no birth date listed in your library card account, the last 4-digits of your phone number will be used. For example, if the last 4-digits of your phone number are 1010, then your PIN number is “1010.”
If you would like to choose a different PIN click here or visit any Santa Clara City Library branch.
If you have any questions regarding Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) please contact the library at 408-615-2970 or visit any Santa Clara City Library Customer Service Desk.
Thank you for using the Santa Clara City Library
