Youth Soccer Park Updates

On March 25, 2014 the Santa Clara City Council established an Ad-hoc Council Committee for Additional Soccer Fields (Mahan, Gillmor and Kolstad) to work with relevant stakeholders. On May 12, 2014 the Ad Hoc Committee met and discussed needs with staff, stakeholders and community youth soccer groups. Due to traffic and difficult access to Youth Soccer Park on scheduled event days at Levi Stadium, Council asked staff to identify options on alternative fields/space(s) for accommodating permitted soccer use for practices and games. The Parks & Recreation Department is exploring alternate sites for community use.

For information on the meeting schedule of the Council Ad Hoc Committee on Additional Soccer Fields, please check the City's Meetings page.

For a schedule of stadium event dates, visit the Levi's Stadium site. For more information about access to Youth Soccer Park on event dates, check with your league field scheduler.  Please note there maybe traffic delays and security protocol in place on Tasman Blvd.
