Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together – over coffee – to discuss issues and learn more about each other.
Community policing has long been considered a framework for establishing trust between the community and law enforcement. Coffee with a Cop will allow residents to ask questions, discuss happenings in the area, voice concerns and get to know the officers who patrol their neighborhood.
The next Coffee with a Cop is scheduled on National Coffee with a Cop Day, Wednesday, October 2 from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. at Sara's Kitchen, 1595 Franklin Street.
