Special Olympics Northern California provides athletic opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, instilling the confidence they need to succeed in life. The Law Enforcement Torch Run® raises significant funds to support these efforts.
The mission of the Law Enforcement Torch Run in partnership with our communities, is to support Special Olympics Northern California through fundraising and public awareness, while enhancing the quality of life of our athletes.
It is a year round fundraising campaign that culminates every year at the Special Olympics Northern California Summer Games in June.
Whether you want to escort the Special Olympics Torch, the Flame of Hope, with other Law Enforcement personnel on its way to the Summer Games Opening Ceremonies or raise funds for Special Olympics, everyone in our Law Enforcement community is invited to participate.
Over 3,500 law enforcement personnel from Federal, Military, State, County and Local agencies participate in the Torch Run fundraising campaign
