South Bay Water Recycling has been serving the City of Santa Clara for more than 10 years. There are 33-miles of recycled water pipelines situated within Santa Clara’s city limits with 267 active recycled water services. Current City of Santa Clara customers include Great America, Santa Clara University, Intel, and various City parks.
Recycled water provides a sustainable water supply that preserves and reduce our dependency of potable water supply. Its uses include irrigation of parks, schools, golf courses, cooling towers and industrial processes.
Recycled water undergoes treatment processes that removes 99 percent of impurities. It is treated to high standards set by the California Department of Public Health and is routinely monitored as required by local, state, and federal agencies.
