Subdivisions
General A Subdivision is the partitioning (or combining) of land into one or more parcels for the purpose of sale, lease or financing. A Parcel Map is required to create four or fewer lots. For five or more lots, a Tentative Subdivision Map must be submitted by the property owner.
Applications
Application is made to the Planning Division at the City Hall, 1500 Warburton Avenue. The Applicant completes the petition for mapping. The property owner's signature must be obtained by the applicant. A non-refundable filing fee is charged as shown in the Planning Application Fee Schedule. Twelve (12) copies of the map, one orientation map and an 8-1/2" x 11" transparency of the map should accompany the application. The map should meet all State Map Act requirements, as determined by the City Engineer.
