About Fire Permits

Fire permits are issued by the Fire Prevention Division. Fire Prevention staff are on-call for the Permit Center as follows:  

Tuesdays through Fridays: 8am to 12 noon  

All other hours, Fire Prevention staff may be contacted at the Fire Prevention Division at 1675 Lincoln Street in the City Hall complex. You can contact the Fire Prevention Division for questions and information, at (408) 615-4970.  

Santa Clara Fire Department's Hazardous Materials Division is located at 1675 Lincoln Street. For questions and information about hazardous materials, call (408) 615-4960.
