Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention"No Dumping - Flows to the Bay"
Storm drains flow directly to creeks and the Bay without treatment. Motor oil, paint products, pet wastes, and garden chemicals are washed into neighborhood gutters and storm drains by rain and other runoff becoming the leading cause of water pollution in the San Francisco Bay. Please try to keep storm drains clear of leaves to prevent stoppage and flooding in the streets during the fall and winter seasons. Never pour anything into a gutter or storm drain.
