Online Meeting Help

The City of Santa Clara’s On Demand video service allows residents to access live and archived City Council meetings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Microsoft Silverlight version 2 or greater is required to view the online video. The player can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft web site. The Silverlight player offers improved compatibility with major web browsers and operating systems. The following chart lists compatible operating systems and browsers.

How to use this Site
Meetings are arranged by Upcoming Meetings and Recently Archived Meetings. When a council meeting is in progress, a ‘view live video’ link will appear to the right of the meeting date and type. Clicking on this link will open a new browser window that will display the live video feed and the associated agenda with linked reports.

Past meetings will also include a summary of actions in addition to an agenda and video. Clicking on any of the highlighted agenda items will take you to the associated point of the video.
