"Stroll into the Past," a self-guided walking tour of Santa Clara history, debuted at the Santa Clara Civic Center in December, 2002, as one of the final events of the City's year-long Sesquicentennial celebrations (1852-2002).
Bright-colored banners lead visitors through a series of 28 plaques that trace Santa Clara's history from a Native American settlement to its present status as the internationally-recognized center of technology innovation.
