Adult Softball & Basketball Leagues Adults playing basketball
The Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department organizes and administers numerous citywide municipal adult softball and basketball leagues and tournaments. Over 3,000 participants a year take part in various organized leagues throughout the City.

Adult Softball leagues run in two seasons (Spring/Summer and Fall). Games are played on the well-groomed Central Park and Mission College Complex facilities. These venues have served as the host site for numerous Amateur Softball Association Metro, Regional and Western competitive tournaments. A wide variety of leagues for all ability levels are offered for Men's, Women's and Co-Rec slowpitch leagues. Registration fees include two ASA registered umpires, balls, scorekeepers, playoffs, awards and daily field preparation. Games are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday at 6:45, 8:00 and 9:15 pm.

Adult Basketball leagues run in two seasons (Fall/Winter and Spring). Men's leagues for novice to skilled players are offered. Games are played Monday through Thursday at Buchser Middle School. Games are scheduled for 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 pm. League registration fees include two referees, scorekeeper, balls and awards.
