Q: Can I get a copy of the video from the Traffic Camera?
A:
The City of Santa Clara has 35 locations of Video detection cameras. They are NOT used for enforcement but only for monitoring traffic flow and detecting vehicles.

These are low resolution cameras only used for monitoring purposes and detection of vehicles. The City does not have the capability to record camera feeds for archiving.

If there's unexpected slowdown, engineers use these cameras to get a visual on whats goin on.
