A symposium to honor US Veterans who have served our country, this program will feature presentations by these three organizations, which all will begin and end their sessions with a color guard ceremony and a salute to flags.

* Sons of the American Revolution (SAR): A speaker will give a lecture on "Soldiers in the American Revolution."

* Sons of Union Veterans (SUV): A descendant of a Naval Congressional Medal of Honor recipient will give a presentation on his ancestor's life, valor, and the challenges he faced during his term of duty with the US Navy.

* United Veterans Council (UVC): Representative members will discuss their wartime experiences, with a focus on the Vietnam War.  Veterans in the audience will also be invited to reflect on their wartime remembrances.

This free program is sponsored by Santa Clara County Historical & Genealogical Society. Veterans are especially welcome and will be acknowledged at the program.
