The Santa Clara Ballet Company will perform the 39th Annual Nutcracker Ballet at the Santa Clara Convention Center Theater.   This annual production of Benjamin Reye's full length, traditional version of the ballet is a holiday favorite in the community and a not-to-be missed family event.

Artistic Director Josefa Villanueva-Reyes spotlights outstanding area professionals alongside young soloists and pre-professional students from the Santa Clara Ballet School and other schools throughout the Bay Area.  Acclaimed professionals include Kristin Lindsay from Company C Contemporary Ballet, Marcos Vedoveto, currently with Napoles Ballet, Mikhail Guz from Firebird Dance Studio, and our up and coming phenom, 16 year old Rowan Allegra Reyes returning as the Sugarplum Fairy partnering with Hunter Finnegan as the Cavalier.

Four Performances:

Saturday, December 8, 2012 and Sunday, December 9, 2012.  All performances will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great America Parkway (Curtain time 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday).
