If you are interested in tracing and documenting your Revolutionary War ancestor, fill out a Revolutionary War Ancestor Search Worksheet available in the Heritage Pavilion and join this workshop where you will receive advice and help from members of the local chapters of Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Terry Briggs, current Registrar, Sons of the American Revolution, Silicon Valley Chapter will make a presentation about the SAR, the SAR membership application process and their documentation requirements. Other SAR members will be present, two of whom are also members of the Society of Mayflower Descendants.

After the SAR presentations, a DAR representative will speak.

Dick Ferman, Program Chair of the Santa Clara County Historical & Genealogical Society will give a lecture on church records and how they can be an important source for documenting your Revolutionary War ancestor.
