Handel’s Messiah
The Santa Clara Chorale closes its season with one of the most popular and beloved choral work of all time—Handel’s Messiah – on Saturday, May 4, at 8 p.m. in Mission Santa Clara. Join the Chorale, soloists, and the Jubilate Baroque Orchestra for this timeless reflection on the birth, passion, and resurrection of Christ. From the overture to the final “Amen” chorus, including the renowned “Hallelujah” chorus and other favorites, Handel’s music will move and delight! The performance will be co-directed by Dr. Magen Solomon, interim Director of Choral Activities at Santa Clara University, and Dr. David Wilson, the founder of the Santa Clara Chorale in 1962 and professor emeritus at the University of Southern California.
