Attempted Vehicle Theft

A citizen reported that someone had attempted to steal his motorcycle during the night. A neighbor also reported that a cart had been broken into and items stolen during the same time period.

A man was arrested for domestic violence after he punched his ex-wife in the face, leaving her with a black eye.

A car reported stolen during the night was located, minus its wheels.

Assault & Battery

Officers responded to a number of calls regarding a disturbance at an apartment. The suspect had attacked his sister-in-law and other family members and punched a hole in a window pane. He was transported to Valley Medical Center for cuts to his hand and was later cited and released.

Officers responded to a call regarding two suspects attempting to steal bicycles. Security personnel had observed one of the men using bolt cutters to cut a bike lock. One of the suspects was arrested for being in possession of burglary tools and prowling. The second suspect was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

During a traffic stop a driver was arrested for being under the influence of drugs and possessing methamphetamine and a drug pipe.

Saturday, November 24th, 2012
Location: 900 Block of El Camino Real
Two suspects were confronted by a clerk when they attempted to leave a liquor store without paying for three bottles of alcohol. They returned one bottle, then left the store. Shortly after this incident, a similar theft occurred at another liquor store. The clerk and a citizen at the second store attempted to detain the suspects, who fled in a white car.
