Five homes are being recognized by the City of Santa Clara for outstanding decorations in the 26th Annual Holiday Decorations Awards program. Nominations made by the community via the City’s website, as well as through phone calls to the City Manager’s Office were reviewed by volunteers from the Santa Clara Senior Center. Awards were based on originality, use of lighting, color, and festive mood. Winners selected from the nominated individual homes, in no particular order, are:

1882 Homestead – The George Home
4292 Burdick Lane – The Crocker Home
1451 Lincoln Street – The Bunce Family
1845 Graham Lane – The Driscoll Family

Three additional categories are also recognized. Winners selected are:

Business - Seniore's Pizza - 940 Monroe Street

Winners will receive Certificates of Appreciation at the Tuesday, January 8, 2013 City Council meeting, City Hall, 1500 Warburton Avenue in Santa Clara. A map of all the nominated homes is show below.
