72nd Annual Camellia Show

Mark your calendar to attend the 72nd Annual Camellia Show, co-sponsored by the Camellia Society of Santa Clara County and the City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department.

See more than 70 major exhibitors with approximately 3000 bloom entries February 23 and 24, 2013 at the Community Recreation Center at 969 Kiely Boulevard (between Benton and Homestead).

The show is open Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will see tiny miniature blooms as well as dinner plate-size reticulated camellias to fit any size garden or patio. The show is one of the largest in Northern California.

The Santa Clara Art Association will be displaying a variety of horticulturally related works during the event.

Enter blooms from your yard! Bring your favorite camellia blossom from your garden to show and enter as a novice. Entries will be accepted February 23rd, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Children are also encouraged to enter in a youth category. Camellia Society members will be on hand to help identify and place your entry. Come and enjoy the show!
