A motorist was stopped and arrested for arrest warrants. He was taken to the county jail.

A motorist was stopped for driving without his headlights on. He failed the field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was taken to the police department and release with a notice to appear in court.

Monday, May 6th, 2013
Possession of Stolen Property
Location: 400 Block of Cypress Ave.
Officers were sent to a suspicious man with a backpack spotted in the neighborhood. On arrival, the officers attempted to stop the man and he ran into nearby yards discarding his backpack. The man was located inside a storage shed in a rear yard of a residence and the backpack he discarded contained stolen items. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Man with a Gun
Location: Mission College Blvd.
A number of officers were sent to assist Mission College Police with a person spotted carrying a gun on campus. The man was described as wearing camouflage clothing and a mask with a gun tucked in his waistband. After an intense search of the campus, officers located the man inside a classroom. As it turned out, the man was a student at Mission College and the gun was a toy.
Tuesday, May 7th, 2013
Location: Guadalupe Trail (Mansion Grove Area)
Four juvenile males robbed multiple individuals on the Guadalupe trail. One of the juveniles was spotted by an officer and he ran. The officer pursued the juvenile and he was quickly apprehended. The remaining three juveniles were located and arrested. All the juveniles were taken to Juvenile Hall.

A motorist was stopped and failed the field sobriety tests. He was arrested and taken to the police department. The motorist was later released with a notice to appear in court.

A female on probation was arrested for possession of marijuana. She was taken to the county jail.

A small fire was started with paper towels inside the bathroom at Montague Park. No arrests were made.

Location: 100 Block of Winchester Blvd.
A man was arrested for trespassing after he was previously warned to stay off the property. He was taken to the police department and released with date to appear in court.

Friday, May 10th, 2013
Location: 1400 Block of McPherson St.
Officers were sent to a suspicious person and detained a man standing on the front lawn of a residence. As the officers approached, the man removed a knife from his waistband. The officers convinced the man to drop the knife. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail. The officers also learned the man was wanted by California State Parole.

Drunk in Public
Location: 2790 El Camino Real
Officers were sent to the VIP Lounge’s parking lot regarding a disturbance. On arrival, the officers detained a female who had consumed a significant amount of alcohol. She was uncooperative and rolled on the ground refusing to follow any directions given by the officers. She was unable to take care of herself and was arrested because of her intoxication. The female was taken to the hospital by ambulance because health concerns.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle
Location: Portola & Sherwood Dr.
Officer Janssen recovered a stolen vehicle from San Jose and returned the vehicle to the owner. No arrests were made.

Saturday, May 11th, 2013
Location: Saratoga Ave. & Stevens Creek Blvd.
A motorist was stopped for a speeding violation and was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. The motorist also had an arrest warrant. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle
Location: Lafayette St. & Calle De Mundo
Officer Tyler found an abandoned vehicle and learned it was stolen from San Jose. No arrests were made.
