Police Blotter - Week Ending June 1, 2013
Sunday, May 26th, 2013
Location: El Camino Real & Los Padres Blvd.
A motorist was stopped for having the wrong license plate on his vehicle. As it turned out, the male driver was wanted by California State Parole and the male passenger possessed drug paraphernalia. They were both arrested and taken to the police department for processing. The passenger was released with a court date and driver was taken to the county jail.

A man was interrupted by the manager from Save Mart when he tried to exit the store without paying for a bottle of alcohol. The man told the manager he had a gun and fled . Our officers searched the area with the help from a canine and a CHP helicopter. No arrest was made.

Location: McKinley Dr. & Forest Park Dr.
A suspicious man was stopped by an officer. The man had a $5000.00 arrest warrant for vehicle tampering. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

A male motorist was stopped for a mechanical violation and he had a suspended driver’s license. The male was also in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

A male motorist was stopped for speeding and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The motorist failed the field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was taken to the police department and later released with a court date.

Tuesday, May 28th, 2013
Location: 3490 The Alameda
Officers were sent to a fight and learned the victim was viciously assaulted to the point of possibly losing consciousness. The suspect also refused to follow the officer’s directions and a struggle ensued. The suspect was eventually taken into custody and taken to Juvenile Hall.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery
Location: Monroe St. & Don Ave.
A stolen vehicle, Honda Civic, reported by San Jose Police was recovered by Officer Williams. The vehicle was released to the owner.

Location: Liberty Dr. & Scott Blvd.
Two suspicious males were stopped driving through the neighborhood. One of the men was on probation. A field interview card was completed by Sergeant Malae and the men were released.

An unknown person entered through an open kitchen window and removed electronic equipment and a women’s Fuji mountain bike. No arrest was made.

Thursday, May 30th, 2013
Location: 1500 Kiely Blvd.
A man physically assaulted and held a knife to the victim’s throat. The victim was able to escape and call the police. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Man with a Gun
Location: 300 Block of Hayes Dr.
A man threatened to end his life and fired a shot inside his residence. Officers were able to take the man into custody and located the firearm he used. The man was taken to the hospital to be evaluated by doctors.

Location: 2200 Block of Agusta PL.
Officers were sent to a female that refused to leave the front yard of a residence. On arrival, the officers met with the female and learned she had an arrest warrant. The female was arrested and taken to the police department. She was released with a court date.

A juvenile male was stabbed during a party being held at Mariani’s Restaurant and his injury was not life-threatening. The male juvenile suspect was arrested and taken to Juvenile Hall.

Officers were sent to investigate a suspicious man, who was going through the recycling containers. On arrival, the officers met with man and learned he had a drug related arrest warrant. The man was arrested and taken to county jail.

A female motorist was stopped for speeding and she had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. She failed the field sobriety test and was arrested. The male passenger in her vehicle was also arrested for public intoxication since he was unable to take care of himself. The male and female were taken to county jail.
