As Santa Clara awaits word whether it is granted WrestleMania XXXI in 2015 and whether major wrestling superstars like John Cena, The Rock and Rey Mysterio will step into battle in Santa Clara at Levi's Stadium, a local non-profit is bringing a taste of WrestleMania to Santa Clara.

Wrestling For Charity and the Santa Clara Schools Foundation have formed a tag-team partnership to bring live professional wrestling/Lucha Libre to Santa Clara, on Friday, October 25 at Buchser Middle School in Santa Clara, CA, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the Santa Clara Schools Foundation.

Wrestling will begin at 7:30 p.m. with an array of wrestling characters, including former WWE Superstar "Vampire Warrior" Gangrel, former TnA Impact star Joey Ryan, international superstar Drake Younger, high-flying masked Luchadores from Mexico, an array of evil villains, colorful young wrestling superstars and a plethora of superheroes to cheer on.

Six wrestlers – Kimo, Dutra, San Jose’s Marcus Lewis, Southern California’s Ray Rosas, Sledge and Hawaii’s “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb (a 2004 Olympian) will compete in a one-night tournament to crown the inaugural Mission City Cup winner - with a trophy presented to the winner.
