Driving Under the Influence
Rustic and Quince
Officers responded to a report of a suspected DUI driver driving recklessly around the neighborhood. The driver failed a field sobriety test. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Warrant Arrest
Pruneridge Ave. and Winchester Boulevard
An Officer conducted a routine vehicle stop for expired registration. The Officer made contact with the vehicle’s occupants and conducted a records check. One of the occupants had multiple warrants for her arrest, was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the County jail.

Felony Arrest
2600 Block of El Camino Real
Officers responded to the 2600 Block of El Camino Real on a report of an aggressive panhandler who was being abusive when rejected. The subject attempted to flee officers upon their arrival. The subject was arrested and transported to the County jail. A records check revealed the individual was also an unregistered sex offender.

An Officer was dispatched to Safeway to investigate two juvenile shoplifters in custody for stealing alcohol. The juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

Drug Arrest
2200 Block of El Camino Real
An Officer contacted a female near La Paloma restaurant. After a brief conversation, she consented to a search of her room at the Western Motel next door. During the search, officers discovered a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. A fellow motel occupant also had two, $10,000 misdemeanor warrants. Both individuals were arrested and transported to the County jail.

Petty Theft
3051 Stevens Creek Boulevard
An Officer was dispatched to Macy’s Valley Fair for a shoplifter in custody. The juvenile male was witnessed concealing items from the store into a backpack and walking out of the business without paying for the items. The juvenile was cited and released to his adult brother.

Drug Arrest
2760 Homestead Road
Officers responded to Safeway for a subject who had shoplifted and was causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the suspect was displaying symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody and booked at the County jail.
