Location: El Camino Real and McCormick Avenue
An Officer stopped a bicyclist for a Municipal Code violation. The male suspect displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of his backpack established he was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. A records review revealed the subject had a $100,000 warrant. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Monday, December 2, 2013
Location: 500 Block of Washington Street
Two male subjects entered a residence on the 500 block of Washington Street. When the victim woke, one subject fled and the other punched the victim in the face. The suspects remain at large. Details of this event were forwarded to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.

Location: 500 Block of Washington Street
While Officers canvassed the area in response to a residential burglary (13-12078), another resident on the 500 block of Washington Street reported a possible intruder. Officers verified nobody was inside the home.

Location: 2800 Block of Pruneridge Avenue
When the victim returned home from work, it was discovered the home had been burglarized. Although there was no sign of forced entry, the interior of the home was ransacked. Details of this event were forwarded to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.

Location: 3400 Block of Granada Avenue
Officers responded to a domestic violence shooting on the 3400 block of Granada Avenue. The suspect was taken into custody for attempted murder of his wife and transported to County jail. The victim, who fled the scene, was located by Officers nearby and transported to a local hospital. Anyone with more information on this case should call Sergeant Rodriguez at (408)615-4823.

Warrant Arrest – Felony
Location: 2500 El Camino Real
Officers responded to Mariani’s Inn regarding an intoxicated male that was pounding on the doors of several guest rooms. The suspect barricaded himself in a guest room and yelled unexplainable outbursts. Officers evacuated neighboring rooms and set a perimeter around the building. At 1000 hours, the negotiating team was able to convince the subject to surrender without incident. A Records search confirmed the suspect was wanted for an outstanding warrant with $100,000 bail. The suspect was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: 2000 Block of Los Padres Boulevard
One or more suspects forced entry through the side door of a garage before entering the victim’s house. The home was ransacked and burglarized. The suspect remains at large and the investigation is pending.

Location: Stevens Creek Boulevard / Kiely Boulevard
An Officer was on routine patrol when he noticed a vehicle displaying false registration tags. He stopped the female driver. Upon contact, the suspect displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Further investigation revealed she was in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was arrested without incident and transported to the County jail.

Driving Under the Influence – Felony
Location: El Camino Real / San Tomas Expressway
Officers responded to El Camino Real at San Tomas Expressway on the report of an injury hit and run collision. A witness obtained the suspect’s vehicle license plate. Officers responded to the suspect’s address and located the damaged vehicle in the driveway. The male suspect displayed symptoms of being intoxicated. Field sobriety tests confirmed the indicators. The suspect was arrested and transported to the County jail.
