Drug Arrest
Benton Street at Pomeroy Avenue
An Officer conducted a car stop for multiple vehicle code violations. Upon contact with the driver, the male suspect destroyed evidence by swallowing narcotics. The suspect was arrested and transported to a local hospital to be treated for the ingested narcotics. During a search of the suspect an additional controlled substance was located. After medical evaluation, the suspect was transported to the County jail.

Hit and Run
Highway 101 and Trimble Boulevard
Two Officers were driving southbound on Highway 101 near Trimble when they witnessed a speeding motorcycle clip and damage their unmarked vehicle’s rear view mirror. The motorcycle operator sped off through traffic and the Officers pursued the suspect. The male driver eventually pulled over but was uncooperative. He was charged with hit and run driving and delaying an investigation before being booked into County jail.

Man with a Gun
El Camino Real and Scott Boulevard
An individual was seated at the covered bus stop on El Camino Real near Scott Boulevard when the male sitting next to her racked the slide on a black handgun, placed it in his waistband and walked into McDonald’s. The firearm was not used against any person. The suspect was confronted at gunpoint. After further analysis, the gun was determined to be a replica. The suspect was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the County jail.

Theft from a Vehicle
2800 Block of Lakeside Drive
Sometime between 1000 and 1500 hours, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the passenger side rear door window of the victim’s vehicle and stole multiple items. The victim’s vehicle was parked in the Embassy Suites parking lot on Lakeside Drive. The suspect remains at large.

3900 Block of Rivermark Plaza
Two Officers were dispatched to Rivermark Parkway on the report of a strong-armed robbery that occurred in front of Safeway. The victim was walking through the parking lot when a black adult male, approximately 20-30 years old, bumped her from behind and yanked her purse and shopping bag from her grasp. The suspect jumped into a waiting vehicle and sped away. A short time later, the victim’s credit cards were used for fraudulent purchases. The suspects remain at large.

Warrant Arrest
Scott Boulevard and Warburton Avenue
An Officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop for an expired vehicle registration. The male driver (suspect #1) was unlicensed and lacking insurance. He was also in possession of an expandable baton, which he had illegally concealed.

There were two male passengers (suspect #2 and #3) in the vehicle. A Records check revealed suspect #2 had an outstanding warrant and suspect #3 was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. All three individuals were arrested and transported to the County jail.

Theft from a Vehicle
4900 Block of Great American Parkway
The victim returned to his rental vehicle in the Hilton Hotel parking lot and discovered an unknown suspect had broken the rear driver’s side window and had stolen several items. The suspect remains at large.
