The Santa Clara Senior Center offers a variety of classes that will help meet your fitness goals for 2014. From No Falls S.O.S. (falls prevention) to Fitness for All (chair-based exercises), as well as Dance for Health, and Strength and Conditioning, we offer a spectrum of opportunities for various fitness levels.
We are excited to introduce three class instructors at the Senior Center!
- Amber Biscardi is the new instructor for Fitness for All and Dance for Health. Amber has many years of experience in therapeutic recreation and is excited to be working our seniors.
- Mary “Morgan” Pozzi is the new instructor for No Falls S.O.S. and has experience in both therapeutics and physical rehabilitation. Morgan is looking forward to her first session, which begins Tuesday, March 11.
- Tiffany Anderson is the instructor for Strength and Conditioning classes. Tiffany, a certified personal trainer, has just finished her first class at the Senior Center. She is looking forward to helping seniors improve their health.
We also offer Introduction to Woodworking for those who have always wanted to learn how to safely use a table saw, router and other tools. This class will provide participants the opportunity for hands-on instruction in the woodshop, as well as help you create a project. The next class begins on March 17.
