Disturbing the Peace
Location: 1100 Block of Santa Clara Street
Upon arrival at a residence on the 1100 block of Santa Clara Street, approximately 5 individuals were visible inside the residence and an estimated 15 individuals outside the residence. Both loud music and voices could be heard approximately half a city block away. Alcohol was present and the party host was cooperative upon police contact. Party guests, however, were uncooperative. The party was shut down while officers were present.

Failure to Register – Sex Registrant
Location: El Camino Real and Pierce Street
An officer initiated a traffic stop on El Camino Real and Pierce Street because the female driver was not wearing her seatbelt, the vehicle was missing a front license plate and the exhaust was excessively loud. A Records check revealed the vehicle’s male passenger was on searchable probation and was out of compliance with his sex registration requirements. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: 2600 Block of Keystone Avenue
At approximately 0255, the victim was approached by two unknown black male adults on the 2600 block of Keystone Avenue. The suspects pushed the victim against a parked car, and snatched the chain off of his neck. One suspect removed the victim's wallet from his back pocket. The victim thought the suspects were armed, and he feared for his life. The suspects fled on foot, and remain at large.

Location: 1100 Block of Duane Avenue
Two unknown suspects rammed the front door of Reed's Indoor Range with a stolen vehicle. The front door and surrounding glass was shattered. The suspects did not make entry into the storefront and at the time of this report it is unknown whether any items were taken from the store. Responding units set up a perimeter and conducted a K-9 search. The unknown suspects were not located. The stolen vehicle was recovered for evidence.

Location: 3900 Block of Freedom Circle
An officer was dispatched to the 3900 block of Freedom Circle for vandalism and theft from a vehicle in the Pedro’s Restaurant parking lot. Unknown suspect(s) broke the passenger's side rear window and removed property belonging to four individuals. The total value of the property was estimated at $5,515, plus the damage to the victim’s vehicle. The suspect(s) remain outstanding.

Driving Under the Influence
Location: Agnew Road and Sunfire Way
An officer responded to the 3900 block of Rivermark Plaza on the report of a subject possibly under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Upon arrival, witnesses directed the officer to northbound Agnew Road to locate the subject. The male subject displayed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for being drunk in public and transported to the County jail.

Location: 4700 Block of Lafayette Street
Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a business on the 4700 block of Lafayette Street. Dispatch notified responding officers that there was a previous burglary yesterday (07-24-14) at the same location. The suspect description for the previous day’s burglary matched that of an individual heading southbound via bicycle on Lafayette Street at Hope Drive. The suspect had burglary tools in his possession and items from the business. The suspect was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Possessing Marijuana to Sell or Transporting to Sell
Location: Scott Boulevard and Monroe Street
An officer stopped a male suspect for vehicle code infractions in the area of Scott Boulevard and Monroe Street. Upon contact with the driver and his two male passengers, the officer immediately noticed a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded a knife with a 6” blade, approximately three (3) pounds of marijuana, packaging materials and mailing labels from public and private mail carriers. He was arrested. During booking at the County jail, the officer located two counterfeit $100 bills in the suspect’s wallet.
