Public Service Programs

The City of Santa Clara Santa Clara Fire Department, in conjunction with Firefighters Local 1171, offers the citizens of Santa Clara an array of public service programs. The dedication and professionalism of Santa Clara's Firefighters is exemplified by the variety of service they provide both on-duty and while volunteering their off-duty time. These programs include:

Art & Wine Festival

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)

Disaster Supplies Training
Fire Department members train City employees on the use of disaster supplies and light rescue tools so that they can be self-sufficient within the first 72 hours of a catastrophic disaster. (Contact Training Division @ 1-408-615-4940)

Home Fire Inspections

Juvenile Fire Setters

Open House

Smoke Detector Batteries

Toys for Tots
