A suspicious man was arrested by Officer Machado for an outstanding arrest warrant.

A man was stopped in his vehicle by Officer Van Diemen and arrested for possession of ecstacy and marijuana. He was taken to county jail.

Attempted Burglary
Location: 2700 Block of Taft Ave.
Two suspicious men were running from a residence after an alarm sounded. Officers found the side door to the garage was forced open. No property from the residence was missing and the suspects are still at large.

Theft from a Vehicle
Location: 2950 Lakeside Dr.
A laptop and gym bag were taken from a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of El Torito Restaurant. Two similar thefts occurred in the area at Birks Restaurant and Gold’s Gym. The suspects are still at large.

Officer Green arrested a man for an outstanding arrest warrant.

Robbery
Location: 2620 El Camino Real
A man took a carton of cigarettes from the counter area at Rite Aid and exited the store. The manager tried to intervene by grabbing the carton of cigarettes. He pushed the manager and dropped the carton of cigarettes in the parking lot and continued running. The man is described a white male, short black hair, 20 to 27 yrs., wearing a black jacket and tan “skinny jeans.” The suspect is still at large.

Fraud
Location: 3550 El Camino Real
Officer Henderson stopped a suspicious man who is on parole from the State of California. The man possessed identity information for numerous individuals and was arrested.

Location: Bowers Ave & El Camino Real
A man was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was seen by a concerned citizen driving erratically who called the police. Officers Layton and Stephens stopped the man in the parking lot of Wingstop Restaurant where they arrested him DUI.

Domestic Violence
Location: 100 Block Washington Street
Officers responded to a disturbance between two adults. During contact with the officers, the male suspect took off running. Officers located the suspect hiding inside a storage locker. He was booked into County Jail for domestic violence.

DUI Collision with Injury
Location: 3400 Block of Monroe Street
Officers were sent to a traffic collision scene and found an unconscious subject inside his vehicle. The occupants of the second vehicle were transported to the hospital for their injuries. The driver of the first vehicle was arrested for DUI and booked into County Jail.

Grand Theft Arrest
Location: 2200 Block of El Camino Real__
Officer Garces met with a subject in a dispute with another person. During contact with the suspect, officers determined he had outstanding arrest warrants. The officers searched the suspect’s room and located a drug paraphernalia and a stolen bicycle. The suspect was booked into County Jail.

Domestic Violence
Location: 2300 Block of Monroe St
Officers responding to a domestic disturbance found two adults fighting. The suspect who assaulted his wife was arrested for domestic violence. He was booked into County Jail.
