Possession of Stolen Property
Scott Blvd. & Harrison St.
A male motorist was stopped for a mechanical violation. Officers found a number of checks that were stolen from a resident in Mountain View. The man was arrested and transported to county jail.

Armed Robbery
4147 Tobin Circle
A fare was picked up in San Jose by a taxi driver. As the driver was dropping off the man, the passenger stole the driver’s wallet from the front seat of the taxi. The driver pursued the man a short distance until he was threatened by the man. The man is described as a Hispanic male, 5’11”,190 to 200 lbs. short black hair with a medium build. He was wearing a white t-shirt. An extensive search of the area was completed with the use of a police service dog but the man was not found. Drug Arrest
Stevens Creek Blvd & Kiely Blvd.
A male bicyclist was stopped by an officer. He told the officer that he had arrest warrant and without warning he ran from the officer. Several citizens saw the man being pursued by the police and detained him. The man was arrested for a $20,000 arrest warrant, resisting arrest, and possession of methamphetamine. The man was transported to county jail.

Suspicious Circumstances (Trespass)
1901 Halford Ave.
Officers were sent to a burglary. On arrival, the officers found smoke billowing out an open front door of the apartment. Several neighbors had entered the apartment and found a diaper burning on the stove. The neighbors extinguished the fire, but no one witnessed anyone near the apartment. The fire was small and did not threaten the building.

A woman reported her missing check was used at the Safeway located at the Rivermark Plaza. Officers learned a subject named Bonnie Levy was responsible for using the woman’s check. Levy is also wanted on a $10,000 arrest warrant for larceny. No arrest has been made.

A male motorcyclist was stopped for reckless driving. Officers found the man possessed a loaded firearm and he was under the influence of a controlled substance. The man was arrested and transported to the county jail.

Officers were sent to a number of thefts from vehicles in the parking lot of Bennigan’s restaurant. In one of the thefts, a laptop was stolen with an external hard drive. No arrest was made.

Bank Robbery
2792 Homestead Rd.
Officers were sent to Wells Fargo Bank. On arrival, the officers learned a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’1” to 5’6”, bald head, wearing a white shirt and plaid pants walked into the bank and demanded money. The money was provided to the man and he ran south as he exited the bank. No arrest has been made.
