Location: 2200 Block of El Camino Real
An officer contacted a male subject in a motel parking lot on the 2200 block of El Camino Real. A Records check revealed the subject had a felony warrant with a bail amount of $30,000. The subject was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: 2200 Block of The Alameda
An officer responded to a bar on the 2200 block of The Alameda on a report of a disturbance. The male suspect fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. Meanwhile, another officer located the suspect in the Safeway parking lot. The suspect had two no bail warrants. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: 600 Block of Los Padres Boulevard
An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Los Padres Boulevard on the report of a residential burglary. The victim's front door had been kicked in, the house had been ransacked and items were taken. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Location: 2200 Block of The Alameda
The victim came to the Police Department concerning a theft case previously reported to the Mountain View Police Department (14-3328) on June 28, 2014. The victim found one of the stolen items at a local pawn shop on the 2200 block of The Alameda. The store owner was able to provide the name of the male suspect who had sold the item to the store. The item was seized as evidence. The original pawn slip containing the suspect’s thumbprint had already been submitted to the Police Department. A Records check revealed the suspect is in jail.

Location: 100 Block of Buckingham Drive
An unknown suspect broke the front passenger window of the victim's vehicle and rummaged through the glove box. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. The suspects fled the scene when the witness came down to the carport area. The witness was able to get the license plate to the suspect's vehicle, but the license plate was previously reported stolen.

NOTE: The suspect vandalized three other vehicles in the carport area (14-008744, 14-008746, 14-008647). Nothing was taken from these vehicles.

Location: 5100 Block of Great America Parkway
Officers served an arrest warrant to a female parolee at the Hyatt Hotel, located at 5100 Great America Parkway. Upon announcing police presence, both of the hotel room occupants fled out the back window onto the third floor roof. The male leapt over the edge of the building and landed in a tree, approximately 40 feet off the ground. The Santa Clara Fire Department arrived and placed a ladder up to the male subject. He climbed down and was taken into custody without further incident. A Records check revealed he had a $50,000 felony arrest warrant out of Redwood City. The naked female stopped at the edge of the building and surrendered. She was arrested.
A parole search of the hotel room and the suspect’s vehicle yielded stolen mail, financial documents, credit cards, jewelry, checks, computers, cellular phones, burglary tools, drugs and drug paraphernalia. The suspects were brought to the Police Station and were interviewed by four bay area law enforcement agencies for related incidents in surrounding municipalities.

An officer contacted a male subject in Central Park, located at 909 Kiely Boulevard. A Records check revealed the subject had two $40,000 warrants. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: 2600 Block of The Alameda
An officer was dispatched to the The Alameda and El Camino Real for a suspicious male on Santa Clara University (SCU) property. While en route, Dispatch advised the officer that SCU security observed the subject trying to cut a lock off a bike. When SCU security confronted the subject, he fled southbound on The Alameda. SCU security followed the subject and advised the officer that the subject ran into a motel room on the 2600 block of The Alameda.
The officer contacted the subject. A Records check revealed he had two warrants out of San Jose. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Location: Alpine Avenue and El Sobrante Street
Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery near the intersection of Alpine Avenue and El Sobrante Street. Two unknown suspects confronted the victim, brandished and activated a stun gun while demanding belongings from the victim. The suspect(s) fled the scene and remain at large.

Location: 2400 Block of Lafayette Street
An officer responded to Home Depot, on the 2400 block of Lafayette Street, on the report that a male subject jumped the fence of a tow yard, stole something and fled to the Home Depot parking lot. A Records check revealed the subject had a warrant. He was arrested and transported to SCPD. The subject was issued a citation for Trespassing and a Notice to Appear for the warrant. He was later released.

NOTE: San Jose Earthquakes played FC Dallas in front of 10,525 fans at Buck Shaw Stadium at Santa Clara University. One subject was arrested.
