Santa Clara, Calif. – February 1, 2005 – Looking for a way to add color to your garden during the winter months? Look no more! Plant camellias, which do well in Silicon Valley, to receive a three-month show (January through March) of beautiful blooms ranging in color from red, pink and white, to variegated forms of all. |

| To receive more information and expert local advice, mark your calendar to attend the 64th Annual Camellia Show, co-sponsored by the Camellia Society of Santa Clara County and the City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department. See thousands of blooms on February 26 and 27, 2005 at the Community Recreation Center at 969 Kiely Boulevard (between Benton and Homestead). The show is open Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You’ll see tiny miniature blooms as well as dinner plate-size reticulated camellias, to fit any size garden or patio. The show is one of the largest in Northern California; in 2004, over 3000 blooms were entered. |

| You can enter blooms from your yard! Bring your favorite camellia blossom from your garden to show and enter as a novice. Entries will be accepted February 26, from 6:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. Children are also encouraged to enter in a youth category. Camellia Society members will be on hand to help identify and place your entry. Come and enjoy the show! Admission is FREE! For more information, call (408) 615-3080. |
