Santa Clara, Calif. - July 14, 2006 - Roberta Jones Junior Theatre proudly presents the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical—The Sound of Music. The inspiring story of the Von Trapp Family Singers is told with beloved songs, including “The Sound Of Music,” “Do-Re-Mi” and “My Favorite Things”. This timeless favorite has music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russell Crouse. Audiences of all ages will enjoy this colorful production, presented by 50 young performers, ages 8-18.

 Performances are July 25, 26 and 27 at 8:00pm, at the Mission City Center for Performing Arts—3250 Monroe St. in Santa Clara. Tickets are $2 for children (under age 18) and $5 for adults.
