Teen Break-Away Summer Camps

Santa Clara, Calif. – April 15, 2005– The summer is quickly approaching and we have the camp that guarantees fun in the sun! The City of Santa Clara Recreation Department’s “Teen Breakaway” camp is for student ages 11 to 14. We visit great destinations such as Great America, Major League Baseball Games and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The camp begins June 20th and ends August 19th. The week of July 4th through the 8th there will be no camp due to the holiday.

Teen Breakaway camps meet Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm at the new Santa Clara Teen Center. The cost for a week of camp is $175 for Santa Clara residents/ $205 for non-residents. Parents can sign their child up for one week or for the entire summer.
