| Civic Center Park |
Lincoln and El Camino Real 
A three acre park, Civic Center Park is on the El Camino Real
immediately in front of the City Administration Offices (or City Hall). The park is beautifully
landscaped with colorful flower beds, a large reflecting pool,
fountains, and benches. This park is the
site of the Statue of Saint Clare, the City's namesake. The
bronze statue by Anne Van Kleeck was cast by an ancient "lost
wax process" in Italy in 1965, was shipped by boat around
Cape Horn to Santa Clara, and installed that same year.
