| Jenny Strand Park |
250 Howard Drive 
This is a five acre neighborhood park with a children's play
area, basketball courts, open space, one tennis court, picnic-barbecue
facilities, off-street parking and restrooms. The park is named
in honor of Jenny Strand, an extraordinary 13-year-old teenager
who was killed in an auto accident in 1986. Jenny Strand, at
the time, attended Hyde Junior High School, was a straight A
student, participated in 4-H, softball, the Police Activity
League, and was a volunteer baby sitter at the library.
