| Silicon Valley Power, the municipal Electric Utility, has achieved high marks in customer service, reliability, image and communication, according to an independent study conducted by RKS Research & Consulting. The survey found that 83% of residential customers are very satisfied with the service they receive from Silicon Valley Power, compared to 58% for other California municipal electric utilities and 52% for investor-owned utilities. |

| “This research confirms that Silicon Valley Power continues to cultivate excellence in its relationships with its customers, exceeding their expectations by providing consistent, reliable power - - service above and beyond that of other utilities in the state,” said Director of Electric Utility Junona Jonas. |

| The study also indicates that customers trust and believe in Silicon Valley Power as a utility, and feel very good about the price they pay for electricity and the value they receive. |

| Customers who had dealt with the City’s Finance Department and SVP customer service representatives were very positive about their experience, giving high rankings for a strong combination of good listening skills, a solid knowledge of the business and a genuine interest in taking care of customers. |
