The City of Santa Clara's official Arbor Day/Earth
Day Celebration is held annually. Celebrations are held at
the Triton Museum Grounds beginning at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Citizens interested in celebrating the beauty of trees and
the importance of protecting our earth are invited to join
members of the City Council, local schools, and others for
a celebration that includes guest speakers, information on
tree care, environmental educational displays and a Tree City
U.S.A. presentation to the City of Santa Clara for the municipal
tree program. Funding for this program is primarily handled
by donations from local businesses, concerned non-profit organizations
and concerned citizen groups.
For
more information, please contact the Assistant St. Superintendent/City Arborist,
