Mayor Lisa M. Gillmor and the Santa Clara City Council express their gratitude to the community for attending the 2019 State of the City events. This year’s events took place at each of the City’s libraries and during a special senior luncheon at the Santa Clara Senior Center.  Attendees heard about recent accomplishments, upcoming initiatives and what they can do to get involved in the community. Mayor Lisa M. Gillmor delivered the State of the City address and joined by members of the City Council. City Manager Deanna J. Santana provided an overview of the recently adopted City budget and discussed major initiatives.

The Mayor and City Council recognized the 2019 award recipients at the four State of the City events. The award recipients were recognized at the State of the City events, as listed below.
