The City of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department aims to provide a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for seniors ages 50+ who visit the Senior Center. It is our intent to provide facilities, programs, and services that meet the needs of older adults living in the City of Santa Clara at various stages and functioning levels of life. Locations and Normal Hours
We are located at 1303 Fremont Street (at Monroe) in Santa Clara.
We encourage visitors to walk, carpool, or take public transit when visiting our facility. VTA bus lines 22, 32, 60, and 81 drop-off within walking distance of our center. For bus schedules, visit www.vta.org.

Monday - Thursday
7:00 am - 7:00 pm*
7:00 am - 5:00 pm*
9:00 am - 12:00 pm*
* Please note the Natatorium closes 30 minutes prior to the facility closing. All other programs are open.

Does the senior center have a travel program? How do I sign-up for a tour?
The Santa Clara Senior Center travel program, Adventures to Go, offers a wide variety of options for travelers, age 50+.
Travelers are required to complete a new Registration and Release of Liability form each calendar year. Registration is processed at the Senior Center Front Desk on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Fridays from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Who can I speak to for help with support, housing, care-giving, transportation, etc?
The Health & Wellness Program empowers older adults to live at home safely and independently. Our RN Care Managers and our Senior Peer Advocate provide information, support, and the advocacy needed to make decisions about care and to gain access to resources. They assess needs, help create an individualized care plan, coordinate services, and offer ongoing support to older adults and their families.

Who can I speak to about a health issue?
The Santa Clara Senior Center's Health & Wellness program is staffed by Registered Nurses who are committed to providing you and your family with the information and tools needed to strengthen and maintain your health, connect you to community resources, and improve your sense of well-being. Services are free of charge to residents, age 50+, by appointment.

What classes does the senior center offer? How do I sign-up for a class?
The Santa Clara Senior Center is proud to offer a variety of fitness, wellness, and special interest classes.

Are daily lunch meals served? How do I reserve a lunch?
Visit old friends or make new ones while enjoying a nutritionally balanced hot lunch. Our Dining Out program provides lunch service to Santa Clara County seniors, age 60+. Advance reservations are required and are limited. Please call our reservation hotline at 408-615-3174 to make a reservation.
