Thank you all for a fabulous Festival! It was a week-end full of delicious food, specialty arts and crafts booths, fine wine, microbrewed beer, and toe tapping free live entertainment for the entire family!
The Water Department distributed thousands of free reusable plastic water bottles and had plenty of cold, fresh water on hand from Tap Water Express.
The 50 Tour: Champions of the Bay presented by Chevron' showcased the eight Lombardi Trophies together for the first time. Other features included: Champions Row, Chevron Stem Zone, and Play 60, just to name a few.
The Social Media photo booth was new to the Festival and 400-500 people had a blast posing for a free photo keepsake with silly hairdos, goofy props and thought bubbles of the department social media channels.
The music and entertainment this year was amazing! Dozens of community groups performed on the Meadow and Kids Kingdom stages throughout the week-end. The Party, Club 90, ORT and Daze on the Green performed for the first time on the Pavilion Stage. The Joe Sharino Band closed the Festival on Sunday and despite the heat, filled the Pavilion with dancers and fans of all ages.
Thank you to the 50,000 Festival goers, artists, sponsors, community groups, volunteers and musicians who made the 35th Annual Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival a huge success.
For those who attended the festival, we hope you had a wonderful time and felt the incredible community spirit. As always, the non-profit community groups that participated retain all proceeds raised during the festival. Other funds earned from the Festival also benefit local nonprofit organizations and City programs.
