Teens Teach: Speech & Debate (Part 1)

For Grades 6-8

 

The goal of this program is to teach basic public speaking and debate skills to middle school students. Students will learn methods to communicate effectively and confidently and to sharpen their critical thinking skills.

This is a TWO part workshop.
Part 1 is on July 7th in the Margie Edinger Room.
Part 2 is on July 14th in the Redwood Room.
Students must attend both days.

Teens Teach is a series of library programs for children led by local high school and college students who are motivated to share their talents, knowledge, and creativity in a fun and hands on way.
